  • Accounting


    The Associate in Science in Accounting Program students will demonstrate leadership skills and enhanced accounting competencies.

    Afforded the opportunity to learn a more global perspective of the accounting process, students will be able to assess, analyze, and interpret data to support the financial fitness within a challenging business environment. Both business and liberal arts course offerings will drive a deeper understanding of today’s complex ethical issues.

  • Culinary Arts


    The Culinary Arts Certificate Program prepares students for exciting careers in food service preparation. From the beginning, the students are engaged in food preparation and educational courses in both classroom and laboratory settings. These courses provide the essential foundation for the food service techniques required of the industry.

    The program aims to develop professionalism and excellence in students. The combination of academic, laboratory, and hands-on classes will develop the skills need in food production methods, cost control, nutrition, sanitation, and food marketing.

  • Executive Office Administration


    The Executive Office Administration program prepares students for employment as support personnel in the executive office administrative position. The students will develop extensive computer skills and analytical skills using Microsoft Office Applications and computerized accounting software. The combination of office skills and social science courses will develop the students’ communication, decision-making and interpersonal skills required of support personnel. The externship component will further advance the students’ skills by providing valuable practical experiences. The Executive Office Administration program provides the students with the skills to successfully participate in the Microsoft Office Users Specialist (MOUS) certification.
  • Legal Office Administration


    The Legal Office Administration program prepares students for employment as support personnel in the legal office administrative positions. The students will develop extensive computer skills and analytical skills using Microsoft Office Applications and computerized accounting software. The combination of humanities and social science courses will develop the students’ communication, decision-making and interpersonal skills required of support personnel. The externship component will further advance the students’ skills by providing valuable practical experiences. The Legal Office Administrative provides the students with the skills to successfully participate in the Microsoft Office Users Specialist (MOUS) certification.
  • Massage Therapy


    The Massage Therapy Certificate Program is designed to train students in a wide range of classical massage techniques, advanced therapeutic procedures and soft tissue manipulation.

    Through hands-on coursework and classroom studies, students will acquire the knowledge and competencies necessary to become a massage therapist. Additional emphasis is placed on developing important business skills to increase the students’ level of professionalism. These include business development, communication and human relations skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be prepared for the National Examination.

  • Medical Billing and Coding


    The Medical Billing and Coding Certificate Program is designed to give students comprehensive training in the basic claims processes associated with medical insurance and third party reimbursements.

    Students will develop the skills necessary to complete insurance forms and solve common problems through a series of courses that emphasis the knowledge of insurance terminology, diagnostics, procedural coding and records management. Upon completion of the program, students will be well prepared to perform insurance verification, pre-authorization referrals and to code and bill insurance claims

  • Medical Office Administration


    The Medical Office Administration Certificate Program prepares students to work in the medical field as an office support specialist by teaching office skills and procedures that will enhance their value in medical office environments.

    Students will become familiar with medical terminology, learn important interpersonal and communication skills and develop computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications. This combination of coursework will give graduates the knowledge to assist in the management of patient care by performing a variety of administrative tasks including handling telephone calls, maintaining medical records and receiving patients.

  • Professional Medical Assistant


    An Associates in Science in Medical Assisting gives graduates a comprehensive education in both the clinical and administrative functions of a Medical Assistant through hands-on coursework and interrelated liberal arts courses.

    Medical Assisting is a multifaceted career that requires practitioners to have a thorough understanding of office procedures and clinical tasks. Graduates of the program will learn how to maintain patient records, manage appointment schedules and bill insurance companies. They will also learn how to assist physicians in taking and recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to patients and sterilizing medical equipment. Skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills are emphasized throughout the program.
